The abstract suggests the figurative and the figurative extrapolates itself into the abstract. (U-T. Nubpa)

As one discovers the art works of Ugen-Tenzing Nubpa, one is immediately struck by its colors: a union of indigo blue, sky-blue and garnet, and golden yellows mixed with tender greens and blue greens… The interfaces of colors are consistently complex and subtle, creating a space, or rather spaces where one’s vision is projected into a singular world, with its own logic, twisters, tangles and flat tints that create figures made of mysterious relations, transparencies and fusions.
